Tim Elkington, over at Enhance Media, posted the results of the IAB/ PwC online advertising spend research 2007. According to this, the British recruitment classified market is worth 287 million GBP (356 million Euros) and has grown 33 per cent from 2006 to 2007.

As to the research method, it seems that the IAB and PwC asked all media owners to communicate their revenue figures (a more detailed explanation is to be found in the comments on Tim’s blog). Let’s hope that all have answered and have done so truthfully.

FYI: The complete online advertising market value is at 2.8 billion GBP (348 billion Euros), which represents a 15.3 per cent market share of all advertising spend in the UK.
