Found on Onrec: The number of candidate responses on the Czech job board duo Jobs.cz and Prace.cz has augmented by 44 percent this October compared to October 2006. More than 178.000 applications have been sent via their system.
Congratulations, this record has been well achieved. And, as I would like to add, good for them, too! Given the fact that the quantity of job advertisements on jobs.cz has risen by more than 57 percent (sorry, got the numbers wrong at first) from May 2006 to May 2007 (source: Aktor’s International Market Reports 2006 and 2007), they better had their number of visitors and suitable candidates follow this trend.
Apart from that, what I find very interesting in their approach to obtain loyal visitors, is one of their applicant backoffice tools: candidates can keep track of the applications they have sent to specific employers and they are also notified about the different stages of the recruiting process. They will, for example, receive a message if the recruiter has declined their application.
Additional information on the sites: Jobs.cz considers itself the job board for white-collar jobs whereas prace.cz is destined for blue-collar workers.
