This is what I found this morning on the the EREBlog and at Cheezhead’s, who has re-published an internal Monster Memo about the latest organisational changes.
On Pogorzelski’s leaving Monster, David Manaster from ERE states,
in recent years, Steve was the President of the International division of Monster, where he ran the company’s main engine for growth – in the third quarter, international grew 57% vs. only 5% in North America – so I’m sure that his loss will be felt acutely.
Oh Monster, to which shores is your calling calling you? Are you really aiming at turning into a “customer focused life improvement company”, as indicated in the internal memo? What does that mean? Will you soon offer candidate and company services for interpreting tarot cards and reading personal horoscopes? Will you light little candles to pray for those who are in need (of a new job and/ or new employees)?
I’m curious to see what happens next but I have to admit that I feel a bit worried about Monster’s new, esoteric affinity. I start doubting their professional seriousness.
